Emma SmithPartner

Emma comes to StreetCred after four years overseeing public relations for sustainability-focused asset manager and direct indexer Ethic: first as a consultant, and latterly as its director of communications. In this capacity, she steered the company through various media initiatives that included three major funding announcements and one extremely high-profile partnership with two former royals. She also enjoyed producing regular content that addressed topics related to practice management, sustainable investing, tax optimization, and regulatory developments.

Throughout the past decade, and stints at several New York PR agencies, Emma has generated stellar content and coverage for financial services clients spanning private equity, real estate, wealth management, fintech, and more. She has also drilled deep into higher education policy while representing colleges and their advocacy groups.

Outside of work, Emma volunteers weekly as part of Riverdale Neighborhood House’s telephone reassurance program, which provides support to homebound Bronx seniors, and also as part of the team that maintains Imperial War Museum’s War Memorial Register. She can often be found kayaking, sailing, chasing waterfalls, visiting WWII museums, skeet shooting, or enjoying a cup of strong black coffee.
